Biochemistry II Homeworks

The Biochemistry II homework assignments will be from a packet that I have given you in class. Complete sections 6-1 and 6-2 for class on Tuesday, 10/26/10.

Extra credit opportunity! Bake some bread to share on Monday. Requirements: must be a yeast bread (remember fermentation), you must hand in the recipe and an explanation of how you got your bread to rise.

Complete the Fermentation Lab that we started in class on Friday. Make sure to complete the graph and questions. Hand in as you walk in the door on Monday.

You should also have completed pages 1-4 in the Biochemistry II Lab Manual.

Castle Learning Instructions

I have put up an assignment for you with practice questions for the Biochemistry 1 Unit Exam. This is optional, but you will earn extra points on the unit exam. This must be completed by Thursday, 10/19/10 before your exam for credit.

Computer Log-In Instructions for Castle Learning

1. Type in www.castlelearning.com

2. Your screen will open to the log-in window

3. Type in your ID/email. This will begin with scsd. (Don’t forget to
type in the period after scsd)

4. Skip putting in a password and just sign in.

5. You will now be directed to setting up a password. Be sure this is a
password that you will remember.
